Robert P. George
Biography
Robert P. George is a Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton University and a Trustee of the Bradley Foundation. Considered one of the foremost experts on topics of law and morality, George holds advanced degrees from Harvard Law School, Harvard Divinity School, and Oxford University. He founded and directs Princeton’s James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions.In 1993, President Bill Clinton appointed Robert George to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights where he served until 1998. He also served on the President’s Council on Bioethics from 2002 to 2009. George is a former Judicial Fellow at the Supreme Court. In 2008, he received the Presidential Citizens Medal, the second highest honor a president can confer on a civilian.
